Merchandise & Equipment Logistics (CONTAKT Tour)
May – Dec 2008 | CONTAKT Tour
In 2008, Minus celebrated its ten year anniversary with CONTAKT – a free-flowing, improvisational show involving the label’s top DJs and live performers backed up by state of the art visuals.
For this tour I handled the logistics of “the Cube” which was a central element of the tour production, and also the manufacturing, shipping, sales and accounting of the tour merchandise for each show.

2008 marked the 10th anniversary of Richie Hawtin’s hugely influential record label M_nus. To celebrate, a select number of events called Contakt were held around the globe. The events built on the past and also looked to introduce something from the future – called ‘The Cube’.
The Cube was a highly advanced communications device that responds positively to the presence of humans and interacts accordingly. By acting as a central hub it allowed visitors to direct their thoughts, collect and share ideas, transcend language and interconnect musically in ways previously not possible.
