From April 23-25, I worked as a freelance Event Manager for the second stage, “Themenforum 2,” at the polis Convention – a platform for urban development and city planning. The stage featured a range of interesting and inspiring talks on sustainable city planning, innovative building materials, and projects where entire districts are being designed to live off the grid.

I was really impressed and moved by the amount of progress in sustainable architecture and city planning! Seeing so many smart people with creative, doable solutions was inspiring. The enthusiasm and willingness for real change in the room left me deeply impressed and hopeful.

At the polis Convention, cities and municipalities connect with investors, financiers, architects, planners, and project developers. Companies in the real estate sector gain direct insights into land and development opportunities. Municipalities meet potential investors, while architects showcase their landmark projects. Of course, urban pioneers with forward-thinking visions are also an integral part of the event. The polis Convention brings together all those dedicated to transforming our cities into vibrant and livable spaces.
